Louisa County VA Real Estate Market Report - March 2010

This Louisa County VA real estate market report examines the sale of single family detached homes during March 2010.

In March 2009 the average list price of Louisa homes was $234,736.
In March 2010 the average list price of Louisa homes was $287,195.

In March 2009 the average sale price of Louisa homes was $229,086.
In March 2010 the average sale price of Louisa homes was $281,260.

In March 2009 the median sold price of Louisa homes was $223,000.
In March 2010 the median sold price of Louisa homes was $221,717.

In March 2009 Louisa County homes sold for an average of 97.59% of the list price.
In March 2010 Louisa County homes sold for an average of 97.93% of the list price

In 2009 from 1/1/2009-3/31/2009, 18 homes sold on the Louisa County VA real estate market.  During the same time frame in 2010, 20 Louisa County homes sold.

As we can see from the graph sales of Louisa County homes have remained slow, however the rather large increase in pending contracts during March shows increased activity in the Louisa real estate market.  Hopefully this will continue into the spring sales season.
