Remember The Dogs Of War
On the Memorial Day we need to take time to remember our fallen soldiers, but lets not forget to honor our four legged soldiers. There are many War Dogs in the middle east supporting our troops. There was even one on the mission to get Osama Bin Laden. These amazing canines even jump out of helicopters.
Since World War II over 300 military dogs have been killed in action according to an NBC news story. It is estimated that each War Dog saves 150 lives. Not only are do they perform key tasks such as bomb and mine detection and attack functions, they also help the morale of soldiers far from home.
