Last night I was driving home at the end of the Thanksgiving day in Charlottesville and all of a sudden
the holiday had changed. I was amazed at how many homes were all lit up for Christmas. I am one of those people who like to celebrate their holidays one at a time without any overlapping. Kind of like kids who like to eat off those divided plates that keep one food from running into the one next to it. I'm not finished enjoying Thanksgiving. Can't I at least have the weekend to finish enjoying Thanksgiving before jumping into Christmas? Afterall we will have the whole month of December for Christmas; let me have at least one week for Thanksgiving.
So I'm adding another "Thanksgiving Resolution"...remember those Thanksgiving resolutions from my last post...to spend a whole week at Thanksgiving to really concentrate on family, friends and being thankful before getting caught up in the Christmas whirl.
