The word of the day is flexibility. In the real estate profession nothing is static. Your day or transaction can change at a moments notice and you need to be able to change with it.
When I got up this morning, my plan was for a relaxed day. After a morning closing, I planned to take the rest of the day for some "me time". However as soon as I turned my phone back on after the closing I checked my messages and the first one was from another agent with a referral. I called the client and found out that she wanted to find a home to purchase immediately. We spoke and within an hour were in the car on the way to view some homes. We will be going out again in the morning and perhaps Sunday as well.
After working previously with an unresponsive agent, this client was thrilled to have someone willing to do what it takes to find her a home as quickly as possible.
