On the current Charlottesville real estate market there are several kinds of homes for sale. One of these is the deal home.
These deal homes are homes that are listed at a price that is a great deal. They are usually priced below assessment and may be priced well below market value. They may be foreclosures and short sales, but not always. Usually they are not in perfect condition.
Whenever I scroll through the mls there are usually several homes that jump out at me, that make me think "what a great deal". If price is the most important criteria to you, ask your Realtor to show you the "deal homes" that are for sale.
