For many homebuyers the determining factor about a home may be whether it suits their pets. This may include such factors as:
- whether the HOA has any rules limiting number and kind of pets
- Is the yard fenced
- does the yard provide enough room for the pets
- perhaps the buyers need a home that is not in a subdivision with covenants and restrictions
- is the lot large enough
- are there rooms without carpeting for the pets
