This latest ranking was acheived as a result of the city's focus on medicine and the presence of the University of Virginia Hospital and Medical School. According to the magazine, Charlottesville ranks fourth in the ratio of doctors per person. In addition, the city boasts content residents, healthy eaters, and many opportunities for outdoor excercise.
