Is this spring in Charlottesville? There is snow on the ground!
After a week that was mainly in the sixties, I woke up this morning to find a couple of inches of snow on the ground. Thankfully spring snow is rare in Virginia, but it is not unheard of. Temperatures during Charlottesville VA spring weather can be a bit of a roller coaster. It is possible to have frost well into April, therefore if you plant tender flowers or vegetables before the end of April you need to be prepared to cover them in the event of freezing temperatures.
The good thing is, those temperatures won't last. In a couple of days warm spring days will return to Charlottesville.
