This is Charlottesville Historic Garden Week. Don't miss the chance to revel in the beauty that is springtime in Virginia.
During this 78th season of Historic Garden Week in Virginia more than 250 gardens and homes will be open throughout the state. The event is sponsored by the Garden Club of Virginia and monies raised are used to fund the restoration of historic grounds and gardens across Virginia. This is the opportunity to view all kinds of Virginia gardens from formal gardens to cottage gardens and everything in between.
This year for Historic Garden Week in Charlottesville, Farmington Country Club, a selection of private homes and gardens in Farmington, Morven Estate, the Pavillions on the Lawn at the University of Virginia and Monticello will be featured. Garden week events in Charlottesville will take place from Saturday April 16 - Tuesday April 19.
