April 2011 average list price $164,429.
April 2010 average sale price $211,844.
April 2011 average sale price $160,672.

April 2011 %sold/list 97.71%.

As we can see Louisa County home prices have fallen considerably this year. We also see that first quarter sales of Louisa County homes are down as compared with the previous year. However we should bear in mind that the First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit was driving sales duing this time period in 2010 and then sales slowed for the remainder of the year. As we get farther into this year we may see sales numbers begin to even out. No matter what, it is fair to say that home sales on the Louisa County real estate market remain flat overall even though we saw a slight upturn in April.
