Speechless Sunday Postponed Due To Snow

Due to the major snowstorm that hit Charlottesville VA last weekend my speechless Sunday post was postponed.  The snowstorm which brought 10-14 inches of snow and ice to the region was accompanied by widespread power outages with over 40,000 households in the Charlottesville area out of power.  I managed to keep my power through the worst of the storm on Friday and Saturday, but lost power for most of Sunday.  Some parts of the area are not predicted to get power back until Wednesday night.  Unfortunately we are forecast to get another 4-8 inches of the white stuff tomorrow.  However I've got to admit it is beautiful!

Pam, I think this is one of the worst winters we've had.  My hubby says we may have snow till March!  UGH!!!

Hope you are all holding up ok.  We got 2 inches and it shut down the area for 4 days until it all could melt.  How did the horses like it?

We missed the first storm up here in Manhattan but they said another storm is on its way, we will see if we are lucky to miss it twice.

Kay - I don't want to even think about snow til March.

Marchel - I could have used a snow blower.

Irene - Hope you didn't end up with too much.

Diane - The horses think its great fun.

Morgan - This has been a crazy winter when areas that usually don't get snow are getting more than areas that traditionally get a lot.
