One of the most important decisions facing clients relocating to Charlottesville, Virginia and Albemarle County is the school that their children will be attending. Although we have many good schools in the Central Virginia area, each one has some different programs and offerings; one may be a better fit for your child than another. If you research schools and are able to decide on a school before beginning to look at homes, your REALTOR will be able to narrow your home search to a specific school district.
This post will provide you with information to enable you to research Albemarle County public middle schools.

Pam what a great service you are providing. In our area clients always want to know which school district they fall in and how it is rated. I always tell them there is a corealtion to the best school districts hold the value of Real Estate better. Is that in your market as well?
Endre - We are lucky that all of the schools in Albemarle County are good. Some of the more rural counties in Central Virginia are not able to offer so much in their schools. But I think the difference in home prices is more a result of the distance from shopping, jobs etc. and the areas do not have as much money to spend on schools. It all goes together.
